For Christmas I got the gift of a nasty virus-Covid! It was unexpected and unnerving, but I knew I had done a lot of work to build my immune system, I had a plan in place before I got sick detailing exactly what treatments/medications I would get and what Dr. I would go to for these treatments. Having a plan in place before getting sick, was key to taking away the fear of getting the virus. With a healthy foundation which I've cultivated through a lot of discipline and hard work over the last couple of years, and by the grace and protection of God, I've been able to fight the virus very well. And I want the same for all of you!
Everyone is completely different and what I'm about to share is what worked for me personally and my family, but we are all different, so what worked for us might not work for you. While these protocols have been suggested by highly respected Dr.'s in the field, I myself am not a Dr. and do not claim to give any medical advice or claim I can treat or cure anything. I am simply sharing what worked for me in hopes that it might help you as well. I feel that it is so important that we Bosses share information and take care of each other especially during these unprecedented times! As you know, I am very health conscious and love living as natural and toxic-free as possible. Thus, a lot of my suggestions are based on a more natural approach, so while some of this may be new to you, these treatments have been very effective for a lot of people, so take what you think will work for you and leave the rest!
Supplements I took regularly to build my immune system and continued to take during infection to fight the virus. These dosages were recommended by my Dr.:
- Vitamin C 1000-2000 mg up to 3 times a day
- Vitamin D 5,000 IUs
- Zinc 50-100 mg
- Quercetin 500 mg
- NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) 600-12000 2x a day
- Probiotics
- Nasal rinse (netti pot) 3 times per day
- Mouth wash 3 x per day (it's important to use a non-chemical based wash. Peroxide diluted in water is a great alternative for a natural mouthwash.)
Products and Practices that helped relieve symptoms:
Xylitol Nose Spray, an all-natural nasal spray, works to reduce swelling, open airways and diminish bacterial adhesion on nasal tissue. It's like soap for your nostrils! My Dad has struggled with allergies and clogged sinus passages for years and after using this spray he is now able to breathe out of both nostrils for the first time in years! Spray each nostril 2-4 times at least twice daily. It is also safe for children.
Nebulizer Breathing treatment helped relieve my symptoms, releasing tightness in my chest, making breathing easier and calming my headache. ***Also purchase food grade peroxide listed underneath nebulizer in "frequently bought together".
In peer reviewed case studies, Nebulizing diluted hydrogen peroxide and iodine was shown to effectively help kill off pathogens relating to upper respiratory infections which makes it a worth while tool for fighting colds, flus, viruses, asthma issues and even to help smokers.
Recipe for nebulizer solution (this will make up a big batch you can refrigerate and use over time):
In a mason jar or glass container with lid add:
-1 pint distilled or purified water
-1 teaspoon Himalayan Sea Salt (dissolve in water)
-3/4 teaspoon 3% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide
*Use 1/2 teaspoon of the above solution in your nebulizer. I used the nebulizer 3x a day to ease my systems.
To help relieve sinus headache and drainage: Heat up water in the kettle, pour steaming water it into a large bowl, add 2-3 drops Eucalyptus essential oil, 2 drops Doterra Breathe essential oil (or a respiratory blend from your favorite EO company), 1 drop Peppermint essential oil and stir with a spoon. Then place your face over the bowl, put a towel over your head and breath in for 10-20 min. ***If you are interested in signing up with Doterra to get top quality essential oils, reply to this email and I'll get you set up! Rooibos Tea with 1/2 lemon and Honey: This is a herbal South African tea which is the most soothing thing in the world when I'm sick! Also, honey, preferably raw, is a good demulcent (it relieves minor pain and inflammation of mucous membranes), has antioxidant properties, and has some antimicrobial effects. It is helpful for coughs and sore throats and can be added to hot tea.
Boss Bone Broth Soup Recipe: Bone broth is one of the most beneficial foods to consume to restore gut health and therefore support immune system function and healthy inflammation response. Collagen/gelatin and the amino acids proline, glutamine and arginine help seal these openings in the gut lining and support gut integrity. Traditionally made bone broths are believed to support healthy inflammatory response and normal immune system function. Bone broth can even promote healthy sleep, boost energy during the day and support a healthy mood.
Baths with Eucalyptus essential oils and epson salt. A bath is still an age-old remedy for cooling down a fever. In addition, adding Epson salt to a bath may help the body dispose of lactic acid, which, in turn, may rid the body of aches and pains. Growing research also shows that certain essential oils have antimicrobial and antiviral properties. Eucalyptus, for example, has been known to be therapeutic for upper respiratory viruses and help ease congestion.
Vitamin IV Infusion Therapy: IV administration offers direct delivery to the bloodstream and bypasses the digestive system and any obstacles that can hinder absorption into the tissues and cells. This allows the body to receive more nutrients for maximum benefits. The vitamin IV helps protect against infection, improves healing time, builds up your immune system, and can reduces duration of illnesses. It also really helped alleviate my body aches and headache. The infusion I received was a 1 liter IV of Vitamin C, B12, Zinc and glutathione. Look online for a local clinic near you that provides vitamin infusion therapy.
A Dr. who will work with you and for you: I had a plan in place for the treatment protocol I wanted to pursue before I got sick and I found a Dr. and a clinic that fit my personal health needs and desires. I found a Dr. that provided treatment options, medications and therapies to help treat my illness and symptoms. If you live in the Springfield/Branson area, I highly recommend, "Freedom Health Systems":
If you live in another part of the country, you can use the link below to find a list of Doctors in your area who follow the FLCCC treatment protocols.
